Writer's Block: Bedside Manners
[Error: unknown template qotd] I was just in for surgery last week under the knife of Dr Ross (sadly not Doug, though).
Since my main TV crush is George Eads from CSI, then I'd like to return to the days when he was paramedic Greg Powell on ER and have him with me on the ride to the hospital. Or he could be his present self, Nick Stokes, investigating the case that landed me in the hospital.
As to the hospital, I'm having trouble deciding between County General with the 1994 staff, Seattle Grace for the gossip or Sacred Heart for the laughs.

But I gotta go with Cameron from House. She's nice, and freaking smart. Good combo. I haven't watched too many other medical dramas though. ER just went psycho when everyone started dying left and right each season. Although I wouldn't mind some of the guy doctors there checking me out... ;)

Now, how I got there was I was attacked by some wacko who had spray super glue. Wouldn't you know I was so scared that I literally ran into Nick Stokes and we happen to be glued together. I've told Dr. Noah Drake at GH to go ahead and treat other patients before he gets to us, I'm in no hurry to get unglued.

But you each will need some isolation until the blood poisoning is remedied.
Besides, if you're in Vegas, then you're at Desert Palm. I've transferred myself in to take Mr Stokes' case. I'm assigning an intern to yours till Dr Drake can get here. You'll be just fine.

I would have to go for House....I've NEVER seen General Hospital...evah!! (...and ER's lost the plot!!)
House could be visiting LV and I could be involved in some minor criminal incident, as the victim, and Nick would have to come to photograph me and House would be stuck in the ER as penance for some lost bet....
Nick, naturally, would be staggeringly empathetic with a poor stray Brit hurt in nasty Vegas, and he'd take me under his wing and into his bed.....obviously to make GG jealous.
You will probably not believe this, but as your mail alert came through I'd just started writing a new fic...and Nick is dating a doctor called Matt...here's the proof....
Nick was having fun. That’s what he’d told himself, so it must be true. He was having fun. As long as he kept repeating it, it was true.
Matt was a great guy. Nick kept telling himself that, and it was mostly true. Matt was a great guy and he was having fun with Matt. That was it; it wasn’t too difficult to believe, if he kept saying it.
There was only one problem. Nick wasn’t having fun; not much anyway.
Matt was a great guy. He was handsome, he was friendly and open and he was good company. He was a doctor; and the sex was great. In fact if Nick was honest he couldn’t fault Matt at all, the fault in the equation lay with Nick, and Nick alone; and he knew it.
He’d met Matt at Desert Palm where he was an intern in the ER. Nick had gone to photograph a victim of a severe beating. Matt had guessed his gay status within thirty minutes and within forty minutes Nick had agreed to meet for coffee the next morning.
Weird or wot????

P.S. Your delivery was just a clever copy 'Made in China'!!

As for my delivery, seems pretty authentic to me. GE's been here before -- when he shot the Evel Knievel film and so Toronto's got a familiarity and access to American football and other US TV shows he can't get in the UK.
Are you sure yours isn't the copy? Check the "birth marks" and other vital measurements!

I can't tell you about his birthmark or his measurements because then YOU'D know...not getting caught that easily!!!

I don't actually like Cameron v.much. I like Cuddy...I think she's a beautiful woman and in the unlikely event that there will be a bromance on mainstream telly, I vote for House/Cuddy.
I feel sorry for Jesse Spencer in rl, because JM dumped him, and they still have to pretend, not awfully well, that they're madly in love!!

That's how I know I have the authentic guy.
And true love is letting the man have his Dallas Cowboys and THEN his "dessert" and rest.

The stamp on his ass, 'Made in the USA' is fake! Put there by unscrupulous traders, who've actually sold a fair number of these copies; if you scrape 'USA' off with a Swiss Army Knife it'll say 'China'....
On another note altogether; I hope he's in the epi tonight..the promo didn't look v.promising. I'll d/l the epi in the morning and watch it before work! It could ruin my day depending on the amount of Nick exposure we'll be subjected too...only a few minutes last week...although 'good' minutes!
If the rumours are true and Nick becomes 'Lead CSI', he could get more air time working with Larry the Fish....or CW could...or Greg could...or so could the person walking past the lab at the relevant time!!! Cynical....moi?????

I'll report back to the Nick_Discussion gang about the amount of Nick tonight by about 9:15 PM EST. One benefit of being in Canuck-land is we get CSI an hour earlier than our neighbours in the US.

I think I'll be in bed at your 9.15...that's five hours behind me, so it'll ne 2.15am here!!
